# Assettia

> Assettia is the data and AI programme record: one place where an organisation keeps what its programme owns, what it has decided, and what it has proved.

Assettia is a software platform for data and AI leaders, executive teams and boards. It keeps the whole data and AI programme as linked records: use cases, data assets, decisions, risks and value evidence. Every record is in one of three states, and the state is never inferred: owned means the thing is on the record, decided means a named person took a decision and wrote down the reason, proved means evidence is linked. Board reports are produced from the same records the programme runs on, every figure names the population it counted, and a register with nothing in it is reported as empty rather than as zero.
